If you could approve the abstract and e-thesis on my behalf this would make things even simpler, and I would like to take you up, gratefully, on your kind offer to do so. Best regards, John From: CORA Institutional Repository Sent: 22 April 2015 11:42 To: Carey, John Subject: RE: Fangzhe Qiu Dear John, Fangzhe Qiu has made 2 submissions to CORA which is why you are getting a second request to review and approve the submission. The first submission contained only the thesis abstract and the submission you have received a notification about today contains the thesis abstract and full e-thesis. The first submission is with the Graduate Studies Office now in the CORA workflow so you did approve it first time round on 12 April. The addition of the e-thesis is probably why the student made a second submission. If you are happy for the abstract and e-thesis (second submission) to be approved in CORA, I can do so on your behalf or you can do so yourself of course. I will then discard the first submission as a duplicate. The student has not placed an embargo request on the e-thesis or hard bound thesis. I can also send the submission back to the student to set an embargo if required and you would receive a notification again to review and approve. I hope that clarifies the problem but give me a call at x5109 if you have any further questions. Could you please check on the current status of this dissertation and, if it has in fact not yet been approved, advise on what may have gone wrong? Thank you! Kind regards, John
