Dear Breeda,

Thank you for clarifying this. An embargo until the end of June 2019 should be sufficient time. I am
therefore happy for the e-thesis submission to now be approved.

Best Wishes,

John

Dear Mary,

Thanks for getting back to me. I realise now that John made two submissions to CORA, one with the
abstract only and one with the e-thesis. The submission with the abstract is already available on CORA
https://cora.ucc.ie/handle/10468/2000 and the submission with the e-thesis is waiting your approval. If
you are happy, I can approve the e-thesis submission in CORA on your behalf and consolidate the
records.

John requested a three year embargo which if the e-thesis is archived this week will be in place until the
end of June 2019. If you would like to extend the length of the embargo beyond 2019, let me know by e-
mail what date in the future you would like to have the embargo lifted and I can set this for the e-thesis
and hard copy thesis.

Best regards,
Breeda

Dear Breeda,

I've spoken with John about this (John is cc'ed on this message) - and he would like to continue the
embargo as he is working on developing a monograph based on his PhD.

Could you let me/John know what steps he needs to take in this regard

thank you

Mary
