In the above, I wish to change the excerpt that reads ‘the 2004 legislative ban on same-sex marriage in Ireland’ to ‘the 2004 legislative impediment to same-sex marriage in Ireland’ At the end of the abstract, I wish to include the following: Author’s Update: Following the outcome of the 2015 constitutional referendum vis-à-vis Article 41, marriage equality has been realised in Ireland.
