Hegarty Dear Aideen, Your former PhD student, Shane Hegarty, submitted his doctoral thesis abstract and e- thesis to CORA, the UCC institutional repository as part of the requirements for graduation in 2014. There is a workflow built into CORA such that the e-thesis is sent to the primary UCC supervisor to review. The purpose of this step is to ensure that supervisors are aware that the e-thesis will be archived on CORA and are happy with any embargo requests. I would like to archive this e-thesis and make it available online so I would be grateful if you could review the thesis online in CORA or let me know if you need me to e-mail you a copy of the e-thesis so that I can approve on your behalf. In order to review the thesis in CORA, you should follow these steps 1. Reset CORA password. In order to review your student’s e-thesis on CORA, you will need to log on. All UCC supervisors have been pre-registered but you will need to reset your password using this link https://cora.ucc.ie/forgot Enter your e-mail address and this will send you an e-mail with a link to reset your CORA password. 2. My Account > Submissions Once you have logged in, go to My Account > Submissions on the left hand side of CORA homepage. You should see your student’s thesis in the Workflow tasks > Tasks in the pool. Tick the box and click Take selected tasks. 3.
