Item Artificial media in ubimus (Panel)(g-ubimus, 2025) Keller, Damián; Zagalo, Nelson; Bridges, Brian; Roddy, Stephen; Estadieu , Gérald Vincent; Messina, Marcello; Gómez Mejía, Carlos Mario; Keller, Damián; Kramann, Guido; Koszolko, MartinArtificial media is proposed as a core concept of a variety of emergent practices. These practices dissolve the boundaries between local and distributed knowledge through the incorporation of extant data. The implications for design, development and deployment of ubimus ecosystems are manifold. We address some of these issues by focusing on three aspects: the resurgence of cybernetics in the sonic arts, the tensions implicit in interacting with retrieved vs. enacted sonic information and the push toward a conceptual overhaul of creative practice that targets artificial media.Item There is no such thing as an ethical black box(2025) O'Sullivan, James; European CommissionItem International Symposium on the Future of Digital Editing and Publishing: Programme and book of abstracts(2024-06) O'Sullivan, James; Irish Research Council; Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), UKItem 2nd Symposium on Digital Art in Ireland: Programme & book of abstracts(Sample-Studios, University College Cork, 2024-06-13) McCarthy, Aoibhe; O'Sullivan, JamesItem Historical chronology in the Early Middle Ages: the Venerable Bede's innovation and influence(Fondazione Centro italiano di studi sull’alto medioevo, 2024-04) MacCarron, Máirín
