Abstract
Appropriate education and training of staff is important in ensuring good quality bereavement care services for parents who experience a pregnancy loss or perinatal death. As outlined within the National Standards for Bereavement Care following Pregnancy Loss and Perinatal Death, hospitals must ensure that staff have relevant qualifications and training for their roles, including induction and continuing professional development opportunities (Health Service Executive, 2022). These programmes must be delivered at an appropriate level for all staff relevant to the position they hold within their organisation following the “All, Some, Few” framework.
