| dc.description.abstract | It is fascinating to look back over the last 25 years in Irish education and to realise how much has been achieved. It is a case of “a lot done – more to do”. There will always be more to do in education. But at the risk of being attacked by those who see the glass as half-empty rather than half-full, I would sum up the past quarter of a century as one of the more positive periods for education since the foundation of the State one hundred years ago. | en |
