Firstly, this paper presents a number of methods which have been shown to be effective in the control of young children. Secondly, it looks at the different types of child-rearing practices and their implications for discipline. Thirdly, the sense is further twisted by giving consideration to the views of young children concerning the various methods of adult control. Finally as the only real discipline can come from “within”, the remainder of this paper is devoted to the development of the child’s conscience within the context of the family, society and the spirit.en
