dc.description.abstract | Statement of contribution: What is already known on this subject? Outcomes measured and reported in health psychology research have significant implications for informing research and practice. Outcome heterogeneity in outcomes evaluated and reported across trials of interventions limits interpretability and synthesis of intervention effects. Core outcome sets aim to address outcome heterogeneity by providing a standardized minimum set of outcomes that should be measured and reported. What does this study add? Core outcome sets will improve evidence syntheses and trials of health psychology interventions. Core outcome sets can enhance stakeholder integration, with benefits for stakeholder health. Core outcome set use in health psychology is important to progress knowledge and research practices. | en |
