Abstract
Holy wells have attracted renewed attention in recent years. Dedicated enthusiasts, heritage groups, artists, researchers, and others have highlighted the distinct role of these physical features in the Irish landscape. These spaces exist at the overlap of topography, mythology, history, religious beliefs, and local traditions. This volume captures a brief glimpse of the interest in and passion for this subject.
