dc.description.abstractIn 2023, we embarked on an exciting new era of Health Promotion International to which we were appointed as the new Editorial team. Our first editorial in February 2023 argued that we faced a critical time for both people and planet, with the need for bold and transformational thinking from the health promotion community that would challenge the status quo, while embracing core principles of human rights, social justice, health equity and collective responsibility.en
