Abstract
Aim: To create a list of potentially inappropriate prescribing cascades (PIPCs) that should be considered when reviewing a patient’s medications. Findings: Through a modified Delphi process, an international expert panel reached consensus on 65 potentially inappropriate prescribing cascades to be included in the final PIPC list. Message: This PIPC list can assist in identifying potentially inappropriate prescribing cascades and help to foster medication safety in older adults.
